It was perplexing to me to think of why He would be baptized. Then as I read each of the accounts the words about heaven opening and the voice of God saying "You are my son and I am pleased with you" struck me as that is what our Heavenly Father says to us when we come out of the water. He speaks to us as his child and tells us of His pleasure.
